The property itself is just beautiful and has so much potential
Every time we tried to enjoy something we were met with barriers.
Checked in at 5pm, no one told us we had to book the restaurant before 5.30 to be allowed to eat, property is isolated. Called to ask for room service, not allowed in cottages, only hotel rooms. We planned to spend whole of next day enjoying the resort. Had breakfast, set ourselves up by the pool, a couple of hours in we were hungry, no food or drinks offered by the pool and missed the cut off again to book for lunch, had to once again leave to get fed. To order drinks at bar had to go to reception and get them to call for bar staff while we waited. Tried to arrange a massage or spa, also not available. Our kids wanted to hire bikes, signed all the paperwork, no helmets. Was just a bit of a let down. It was July so would have expected much more facilities. Staff also seemed not as friendly as everywhere else we stayed which was 5 other locations in Italy.

If you're looking for a quiet piece of paradise, this is it. The grounds are very well taken care of and so beautiful. The animals and the lake are great, even for a little evening stroll before dinner. Dinner is great. We even played some mini golf, which was fun. The rooms are comfortable. Plenty of parking

Excellent Spa, facial and body massage was amazing.
Would have preferred a double bed, the two singles were smallish. We booked a double bed but possibly no doubles available. We didn’t complain because we were very happy with everything else

Clean, nice views
Nobody ever serving at the bar, had to beg for service. Cottage cold, tv in bedroom not living area, shower not hot, heating hot and miss, too far away down country lanes. Food very overpriced. Nowhere near a 4*.
