About this villa rental
Perched next to Huatulco’s prestigious yacht club in Chahue Bay, Casa Buena Vida is a professionally managed My Huatulco Vacation property designed for elevated coastal living—featuring an infinity pool overhanging the ocean, swim-up bar, rooftop terrace, private dock, and more.
Walk into the open concept living space and immediately into relaxation! This villa features a living area built for entertaining with its large kitchen, central dining area overlooking the pool and airy living room.
An entire wall of windows can be retracted to seamlessly incorporate the outdoor living space. Here you will find a BBQ, multiple sun-soaked loungers, a half bathroom, shallow wade pool, large infinity pool, and swim-up bar.
Take the main staircase up to the second floor where you will find two master suites with king sized beds as well as access to the rooftop terrace. Bedroom three is located on the main level with two double beds and bedroom four is located on the lowest level with three double beds. See below for full details:

My family rented the house for 9 days. Overall we had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent. The pool was beautiful and big enough to keep everyone occupied on those "chill" days. It was really neat to swim and watch the boats coming into the harbour and fish jumping. The house was very spacious and comfortable. There were a few small things that could be improved. There were no beach things in the house, so we bought umbrellas and chairs, which came in handy since the beaches in the area are very wide open with no shade. The appliances didn't work very well - we had to defrost the fridge, as someone had turned it down too low and it wasn't working efficiently, and the stove and oven took a bit of fiddling with. The fourth bedroom in the basement needs some work - it was pretty musty and the air conditioner was on its last legs. My son's dust/mold allergies really acted up so he ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room, which was fine because it was a great couch. The other rooms were very nice - all had air conditioners, ceiling fans, comfortable beds, pillows etc. The balconies were great and the views spectacular. The property managers were very responsive and communicated easily with WhatsApp. The housekeeper and pool person were excellent.

Great spot, house was as advertised. Kids enjoyed the pool and the beach close by was a great secluded spot. I recommend having a car in this location to assist in getting around.

Great house for a family vacation

They told me that the kitchen and living room A/C units were out of service and missing parts. It was extremely hot and in my desperation I turned them on to see if they worked. Guess what? They lied, they do work but orefer to tell guests the AC units don’t work so that you don’t use them and save energy. If I would of known that the ACs were not working in the common areas and only in the bedrooms, there is no way I would have booked this property. On another note, the description says daily maid service. This is not true and misleading. I booked a stay for 5 days and services was provided twice. Olease update description to reflect reality.
