Attention to detail from the staff who are all very lovely. Property is absolutely gorgeous.

The staff took note of small comments and details and made our stay extra special according to what we liked. The garden is absolutely stunning and we had a delicious breakfast.

Beautiful stay - will be back!

Amazing place, staff were truly excellent and the hotel was furnished to a beautiful standard. Gardens exceptional too. Honesty bar is a great touch as well!

The staff from the reception to the restaurant was very friendly The family suite was just perfect The breakfast was nice Exceptional service We had a great stay and would love to come back

we loved it even though my husband missed the tennis finals!!!

the staff are fantastic and the suite is beautifully decorated. the garden is tranquil and lovely to sit in. all in all wonderful people and a fabulous stay.

only one thing niggled us about what was missing in a property of that calibre. enough solar power to power the plugs that powered the TV and DSTV. it only requires a bit of rewiring. the towel heater (which draws much more power) was left working. with the lack of a solution to our power problem hotels and guesthouses, especially of that rating need to make sure that their power needs are totally covered.

great chill location for the start of our holiday

we stayed in a suite which was lovely, great showers and comfy bed, fab breakfasts

property is a little bit tired and could do with a refresh, we put out do not disturb sign on the door as we didn’t want daily cleans and turndowns but it was just ignored and they came in anyway - i’m sure with the best of intentions but they really shouldn’t

Excellent service but unfortunately disappointing suite of rooms.

Breakfast very good. Staff were all very engaged and service excellent, they wanted to please and fulfill any request if they could.

Disappointed with the suite, as it had no outside space and no view The main bedroom was part of a sitting room so felt a bit like a ‘bed sit’ I think these things need to be clearer in photos and room description. Also stairs to room and several steps inside too.

Very good

Location was good. Garden was simply gorgeous - 11 out of 10 ! Site was secure and safe.

The Rooms and the furniture could definitely do with a re-fresh. Room Carpets were particularly in need of v good clean and preferably replacement. Armrests on armchairs were dirty through use and age.

Lovely tranquility

amazing garden, superb breakfast and friendly staff. conveniently located to wineries and top class restaurant such as la colombe or foxcroft

style is old fashioned / colonial chic, but that is just (not) my taste

Exceptional

a lovely boutique hotel, with very helpful staff to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are stunning, with quality bedding. Made recommendations for lunch, arranged us a picnic basket. Just overall perfect stay.

pictures do not reflect reality, run down, very much overpriced, smelly room/bathroom, dirty carpet, very noisy AC, breakfast only at 8 am

Very quiet neighborhood. Garden and pool area are great for some relaxing moments. Breakfast is outstanding

The bed and pillows were extremly comfortable, but the bed was quite short (1,80 in length)

A real oasis

This is a gem of a place if you're looking for an intimate guesthouse rather than a larger hotel. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated as are the common areas. It is a nice touch having the 'help yourself bar' in the lounge area which is decorated in greens to match the tropical garden which is blooming and a real oasis. It is close to all the wine farms in beautiful Constansia and right next to Peddlars which is a nice spot for a meal. The staff went over and above to make us welcome, even running next door to get us a takeout and allowing us a very late checkout as our flight did not leave until the evening. The breakfasts were divine! I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a tranquil place.

Great hideaway nestled in Constantia

Exceptional sceneries, friendly staff, loved the room. it was clean, quality linen and the towels are so fluffy. I can’t fault anything.
