Helpful receptionist
Spacious room and balcony
Welcome treat box was a nice touch.
On entering the room, the handle on the sliding door to the balcony, came off in my hand. I mentioned this to reception and she said she knew it was broken....!
Problems with the bathroom.
When I got into the shower, closing the shower door carefully, it came off its runner and fell on me. I escaped injury by shouting to my partner for help, as the door was heavy.
The window which is in the shower would not close, and kept flying open which risks a head injury, as the shower is hand held only. So one hand keeping the window closed, the other has the shower, how are you supposed to shower in comfort, plus it is dangerous!
I reported this to the receptionist and she offered a different room.
The room was billed as a Superior apartment, so the bathroom should not have presented these problems.
Also, after three days, the bathroom bin was full as there had been no housekeeping service. It didn’t live up to the reviews, so it was disappointing
