Gorgeous first impression, but disappointing overall.

* Lovely large villa with great pool and cabana * Close location to the port and bars/restaurant * Extra touches for our honeymoon - thank you * Management accommodating when we expressed our disappointment & offered some goodwill quickly

* Although we were informed about the Call of Prayer when booking - what isn’t made clear is how LOUD and how LONG this goes on for. Fully respect the culture but this ruined our stay and consequently we left after 1 night (rather than the 6 booked) * Informed you hear the prayer wherever you stay on the island - we ended up relocating 10mins up the road and could barely hear it. (Many times missed completely) * Unfortunate and uncomfortable exchange with night security who laughed at us when questioning how long the prayer lasted for. He came round to the front and invaded our space which felt intimidating. * No one met us despite us contacting them (luckily it is close by and was easy to find) * The place could do with updating in places - the bathroom in particular. * The safe is also not secured down in the wardrobe so is pointless and can essentially be walked off with

pictures provided look way better than it’s in reality and Muslim prayers are very loud at this villa.

staff couldn’t have been more helpful. great location close to everything .great space large living, eating area and bedrooms very clean and comfortable

noise from morning prayers at 4 am. we bought ear plugs that were amazing and helped us sleep through it.

Perfect stay for two couples, close to everything

loved our stay at Gili Villas! it’s such a beautiful space and so close to the main strip and ferry. we loved the outdoor living space, really great to sit out at night time when it’s cool. the beds are super comfy and bathroom was clean with fresh towels and beach towels. we also had access to bikes which are really great for getting around the island. the staff were super lovely and attentive and helped us book a private snorkelling day trip which was so much fun and a must do in Gili T. we had fresh cold drinking water as well which was always filled. loved it, thanks Gili Villas!

Mosquitos are about so make sure you close the bathroom door and bedroom doors when you leave

Exceptional

wow for the price we got for this place, you honestly can not fault this place at ALL. the place is HUGE, it's bigger than I expected. Large hang out area and kitchen (not that we really did any cooking here) and a massive pool. It's absolutely huge for 4 people! it is so centrally located, 2min walk max to the main street/the port. We didn't have any hot water or power issue which is what we were expecting for being on an island but we had none! They also do a fantastic job at cleaning and honestly we just had the best time on Gilis staying here! 100% would come back and stay here again! :D

Not a fault of the villas but for those of you that never had an open air bathroom before might get a bit of shock with giant bugs (totally harmless) coming into the bathroom at night. There is also a mosque in the middle of the island that broadcast their prayers on loudspeaker 5 times a day which might intrude your sleep ins. unfortunately this is not something you can really avoid anywhere on the island as it's so loud you can actually hear it from Gili Meno.

the common place was an open air sitting which was nice but overall the villa is an badly maintained. delapitated

the pictures of the villa are an old pictures. 5-10 years old. this day this villa is bad looking. not maintained at all. do not rent this if you want to impress you girlfriend. this villa is delapitated not maintained structure. it is hard to believe I rented this crap. unfortunately there is more and more villas like this on booking.com. very disappointing

Our favourite spot.

We had the most amazing time at Gili Villas. The villa definitely did not disappoint. The outdoor living area was the perfect place to spend the morning/afternoon and the pool was great to cool down. The bedroom was spotless and spacious. Everything was in working condition and we had no problems during our stay. The location, like the villa itself, was perfect! Close to the main strip, and a quick 2 minute walk to the main habour. We will definitely be coming back.

Overall everything was amazing, but an outdoor clothes rack to dry clothes would be great.

it was so so. but i will not stay here again.

great location. not too far from port n food.

the villa next door was noisy with loud speaker, and the staff didnt do anything about it. our sheets has hole, the aircon isnt cold enough, so i had difficulties to sleep at night. the pool isnt as big as in the picture. but it was ok. beware of your food, there was a lotsss of ants and stray cat. when we arrived the receptionist wasnt there, sonwe had to wait for a few minutes.

The host and the staff doesn't sync up, making confusion upon arrival, but overall still okay.

The location is very strategic near the south beach and near the private jet harbor and night market. However, the night market is not so attractive anymore during the pandemic, but there are plenty good options of foods nearby. The breakfast is not available on the villa, but the host referred us to Manta Dive restaurant near the villa to claim the free breakfast.

The host isn't there and the staff is not present at the time of arrival. I tried to contact the host and the staff just came. Also, I guess the staff doesn't get informed by the host since I was asked to pay for the villa again. As for the facility, the The pool is dirty so I decided not to swim and the kitchen didn't have gas to turn on the stove, I tried to ask the staff but he was not at the reception desk. The shower didn't function well on one of the room. There are many insects like cockroach and centipedes in one of the room.

Gili Villa was perfect location, villa and exceeded all of my expectations.

Great location and perfect villa. Breakfast made in our Villa for us every morning was amazing they asked us every morning what we would like for the next day. Cold water was provided and a mini bar in the fridge too which was perfect and very needed. Perfect villa. I will go back annually the best villa ever and it was massive too and great pricing.Private pool was masssssive and fully used.

Nothing i did not like. LOL x
