The location, the facilities were good
The toilet seat was broken, the shower doors didn’t close fully hence water did escape to the outside and there was no foot towel to dry the floor.

It is close to the train station, maximum 12 euros a cab. Area is very nice and close to everything.

The location, near Turati, was excellent, equidistant between Duomo and Centrale, the main train station; it was close to everything that you need, with a lovely Roman restaurant around the corner, supermarket, cafés, ATMs and so forth
Quite a bit, actually.
I was in a mixed-dorm, and the bathroom didn’t have a lock. This is forgivable perhaps in a single-sex dorm, but absolutely not for a mixed.
The toilet seat was broken.
The dorm door required manual locking both in and out, and was therefore not entirely secure.
The heating in the dorm was broken, though to be fair it was fixed while I was there.
The kitchen was substandard, there was nearly no cutlery, and had no kettle for heating hot water for tea and coffee, which considering that one would cost about €15 is just good enough.
The WiFi was patchy.
One of the staff seemed to care about all this, but it seems to me that, as one of many city-hostels all over Europe, that the company should make much more of an effort…
