Excellent location and hotel can watch your luggage before and after your stay.
Breakfast very low value. Not good tasting, and low variety. Compared to other APA hotel I’ve stayed, the worst.
The elevator lobby area had a very bad smell as well.
Staff were not very friendly. Useful but a bit rude.

The cheapest hotel we can find in Karuizawa, the rest of the hotels were too expensive!
The hotel is quite old. It was ok as we just stayed for one night

It was near the station

It was a nice clean normal hotel.
The major thing I didn’t like was there was no air conditioning in May. It seems like they don’t allow guests to turn on air conditioning until later in the year (June maybe?)
They told me to open the windows to cool down the room. I kept the windows open all night but it was still too hot to sleep well.
Other than no air conditioning it was a good hotel, but no air conditioning was a major negative for me
