Excellent communication with the owners, quick to answer queries, very helpful. My late arrival was accommodated very well.
Nice room, good bed and pillows, slept well;
Airco that you can control, keeps going as you wish.
Excellent shower water pressure and temp control albeit the showerhead was a bit low. There was also a 'rain' overhead showerhead but I do not like those.
TV with all the channels and streaming channels present.
There were two comfi chairs and two low tables but no desk in the room to work off.
The room could be made very dark during light hours with the metal shutters controllable from the room.
There were two ceiling lights, and one table lamp for lower lighting levels in the evening.
The shared facilities were great! The kitchen is fully kitted out incl dishwasher. There is also instant coffee and ground coffee plus sugar, oils, salt peper etc. There are two fridges for keeping your own bought items cold. The sitting room has two large sofas and a big dining table.
The roommates in the other rooms were fine, I did not hear noise coming from their rooms, nor noise from upstairs.
Walking time to the three bridges is about 20-25min, not too bad.
Supermarket was close by too.
Will consider going back if I were travelling to Ljubljana again. Good location for Institute Joseph Stephan.
Booking.com also paid for the airport transfer to the accommodation, which was very welcome.
The windows of my room were facing the busy main road. I was glad the windows could be kept shut due to the airco as otherwise the noise from the road was bad.
There is a glass partition to the room for the bathroom section that was only partially made no-see-through, which was ok for me as I was by myself but nonethless a bit weird. Eg you could watch tv when showering. I'd preferred it if there was some kind of curtain or blind to cover the partitioning. This would be useful also if staying in the room with two people needing to use twin bed set ups.

Room was comfortable. Loved cute little private glass walled bathroom. Shared space (living room and kitchen) was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Check in and check out went smoothly.
Towels were a bit musty, and there was still few papers left in the wastebasket from previous guests. But that is nitpicking, overall cleanliness was great.

Peaceful despite the busy road going by. 15 mins walking to the city center or a quick bus ride. Buses are frequent and cheap. Very nice and helpful staff 😊

The host is extremely nice and helpful, answering immediately all the messages. He came to the bus stop to meet me, he helped me with my suitcase and made efforts to answer all my questions (opening hours, transport to the airport, etc). The house is quite centrally located (20 min on foot to get to the city canter), well connected with city buses, two supermarkets nearby to do shopping. The rented part of the house is renovated and well equipped, modern kitchen with basic food provided (tea, coffee, oil, sugar) which greatly facilitates life of somebody staying for a short time. Very comfortable beds. Basic cosmetics provided. Nice and welcoming atmosphere.
I was sure I booked a studio but in fact it was a room + common living room + common kitchen for three rooms (each with own bathroom). It would be perfect for a group travelling together but not necessarily for a solo traveler. Two rooms (big, with a nice bathroom) give on a noisy street so I choose the one giving on the backyard. This would be very good for one person but is intended for two as there is a big double bed which takes almost all the space. The sink is in the room, the WC and the shower as well, separated by a transparent glass wall. Difficult to imagine to share this space with somebody. So for one person it is fine, for two - a bit problematic.
