Dirty, overpriced, no linen, rude and you should avoid.

Nothing. It was a total scam. The photos are not what it looks like, it was dirty, old, musty smelling. Table cloth ripped, bathroom vanity falling apart. No linen, and then charged €70 for linen that was just left on the table. No pillows. Then she accuses us of trashing the room, even tho we only stayed a few hours, didn’t even take bags in, didn’t change our clothes, nothing. She was rude and offensive and very unprofessional. I would avoid at all costs. It ruined our last night in France.

Avoid this - hosts just want your money and really unhelpful

Everything in Carantec apart from the apartment and especially the really unhelpful hosts!

Last evening of our holiday ruined. The property listing had buried the fact you have to PAY FOR BED LINEN!! Who wants to fill suitcases with sheets etc?? We found out having arrived at property. Such a scam! Not prepared to pay an unclear extra amount 40/50euros for just one night. So had to sleep on mattress cover. Property not worth whole amount - can get better - and I really do not like the underhand way of extracting money! Be warned!

Great to feel part of a proper French town again, and to take part in local things going on.

Appartment was in a attractive old house. Near town centre with shops and cafes. View of the sea, and very close to walk to. Carentec felt very 'French', and there were very few tourists, and a good street market.

There was nothing to dislike in the location, and the appartment felt welcoming... so very satisfied!

We didn't stay! Found alternative accommodation.

Adequate parking.

Apartment needed updating. TV needs to be on a wall bracket instead of on top of fridge. Old TV and poor remote control. Bedroom only has single beds,double bed is just a sofa bed in living room. Furniture and fittings all very dated and inferior quality. 30 Euros extra paid for sheets and towels,but they were not there on arrival and did not include tea towel. Depressing,shabby building.
