The location is incredible, totally in touch with nature. At night it was possible to clearly see the starts, and during the day we went to the pond and saw a kingfisher and sheep. The views are also beautiful and you can see Marvao castle in the distance, and you hear only sounds of nature. There is a lot of art to see as well, this is lost on me i confess, but I could tell it there was some excellent pieces. It was possible to park very close the the property. The pool was also nice, not too much space but very cosy.
Our room didn't have a full length mirror, there was only a mirror in the bathroom, which was a minor inconvenience for my girlfriend. The water in the shower also went from hot to cold with a mind of it's own, again a minor inconvenience only.

Absolutely gorgeous stay in the middle of nature. It was the perfect long weekend escape with my partner and parents. Loved waking up surrounded by trees. The breakfast is fantastic – huge continental choice with espresso coffee and eggs cooked-to-order. View from the breakfast room is lovely. The sculpture park filled with sheep is nice to wander and find inspiration. Pool area is gorgeous and peaceful too. We had the little 3-bedroom house, which had plenty of space. Each bedroom had an ensuite and the kitchen was enough to prepare an easy snack dinner one evening.
No complaints! Would return in a heartbeat.

Susanna was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice and spacious. The surroundings are beautiful.
A new shower head is defo needed in room 3! The room was not sound proof, we had 'the luck' to hear our neighbour spitting, washing himself, peeing...and more :-(
The breakfast is not that great.
