We only spent one night at the country house as we had an early flight to catch. The staff were very friendly and did a special vegetarian meal for my wife. As we were leaving early for our flight they provided a take out breakfast for us.
Location near the airport is great, but not much in the surrounding area for entertainment.

The grounds are well kept and tidy, and the outdoor swimming pool was a refreshing addition. The attention and care given to the room decor was very tasteful, and the bed and bedding were so comfortable that I would like the same in my own home!
I also really appreciated the small but important special additions, such as a sherry left in the room for guests, and the bath salts provided beside the generous and pristine bathtub. It was also very nice to be offered both a separate shower and Victorian style bath in the same room, and the robe and slippers were a lovely touch.
There was also a well stocked coffee and tea station in our rooms, including biscuit treats and a refrigerator with complimentary bottled water. Everything in the rooms (that included a large bedroom with comfortable lounge chairs, an outdoor veranda with additional table and chairs, and a large bathroom) was generous in scale and in practice.
The staff were also very friendly and respectful, and both the manager and serving staff were attentive and had suggestions that I found helpful.
We enjoyed an evening meal on our first night, and it was excellent and the menu and its presentation offered a varied choice that also included a very palatable wine menu.
Our driver was able to drop us off safely in a gated area, and the surrounding area exterior to the hotel also made us feel comfortable.

The size of our room and bathroom was amazing. There are several lovely lounges with fireplaces. The only meals we had were breakfast and that was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We did not like the carpets.
