1 Night Stay

Out of town, quiet, open fire., little touches such as bath bombs.

Feel the bathroom needs an update, mould on the silicon sealant. Would not expect that at another accommodation paying much less in the area.

It was comfortable, but a few little tweaks as mentioned would make it that much more comfortable

Bed was comfortable and nice breakfast cereals, bread and eggs.

No bedside tables or table to eat at inside, only one outside, but it was raining so no good. mould on the walls in shower, which could have been cleaned with a bit of cleaning, as when I wiped some of it, it came off. A little towel rail in kitchen to hang the tea towel on would be handy, and coasters to put glasses/cups on as little side table by lounge chairs had an uneven texture and glasses couldn’t sit on it without falling over.

comfortable stay on the outskirts of Martinborough

Good sized cottage for 4 people. Quiet location a short drive / long walk from Martinborough centre.

Crockery in the kitchen was dirty.

Beautiful setting, location

We ordered an extra large bed and it was two singles joined together. One bed was dipped in the middle significantly that my partner did not sleep well at all.

great location. lovely and peaceful. studio property was lovely. breakfast was a bit of a let down.

clean and comfy.

breakfast was limited. eggs and musli left in the kitchen area. a pastry wouldn’t go a miss. not enough milk for two people cereal and tea.

It was a lovely place relaxing and meet my expectations.

My only negative was no warm blankets it was cold and i did not think the bedding was sufficient. I went and brought a warm blanket for the second night and had alot more comfortable sleep, most of us sleep with either a duvet or cuddly blanket at home so its a big transition to go to very light bedding. Apart from that it was great.

The fire at the fireplace didn’t last. We wondered maybe the vent/chimney isn’t properly ventilated so the fire dies quickly… The ‘code’ locking system didn’t work. It locked us out so we had to get a key from the reception Both no biggie - want this to be constructive feedback

Very peaceful and close to town. Spa was amazing! Good sized rooms and everything you need.

Rooms could just do with some bug spraying. Quite a few spiders, cockroaches and ants.

Beds where really comfortable! Loved the open fireplace.

Wish there was a spa. And a shame that you have to buy a swimming cap to use the pool - made us not use it.

Perfect stay, recommend and will definitly be back.

Communication by staff was exemplary and instructions to gain access to room after hours were great (might need to be more specific about which door to access). The room was spotless with really comfy beds. The bathroom was spotless with an awesome walk in shower. The kitchen was spotless with microwave, fridge (with wine for purchase) and hot plate for making breakfast in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed having a cooked breakfast instead of the usual continental cereal offerings by most facilities. The setting was so peaceful and we had the best nights sleep. Thank you team.

The only thing we found could perhaps do with looking at is the lighting from the car park to the rooms. It is very dark and while we did have our cellphone torches it was awkward trying to carry the phone, carry the luggage, navigate the path and not disturb other guests. Was a challenge, but other than that it was great.
