I honestly never do reviews unless it’s really good but this is my first bad review.

Close to town square. Warm. Easy to checkin and out.

It was raining when we stayed and other than wineries there’s not much to do around town in the afternoons. I was disappointed there was no Netflix or movie channels on Sky just the basic channels. The place had a funny smell to it as well and the couches were old and worn. The shower also just leaked all over the floor as soon as you turned it on.

Lovely spacious units a short walk to town square. private and quiet

Really spacious unit and private living spaces. comfy beds and good kitchen etc.

shower head was a bit rubbish. A privacy blind in the bedroom would be nice.

Disappointing

The bathroom wasn’t clean. Hairs on the top of the toilet and the bathroom mat was visibly mouldy. Apart from that everything else was fine.

Very disappointed especially considering the price.

Location, bed in bedroom was okay.

Would have been more comfortable to sleep on the floor than the sofa beds. Mattress was so thin and every spring could be felt. The sheets on one had blood and the sheets on the other couch had rust stains. We booked for 3 adults, there was only two coffee mugs etc.

Ticked Lots of Boxes, BUT Crossed Lots Too!

All seemed quite well designed for fit, quiet, and privacy. It had a good parking space too. The main living area was quite spacious for a couple and well equipped with a heat pump, 2 sofa/beds and a good sized TV with a theatre sound system. It also had wifi; which we didn't use. This accommodation definitely ticked the main box of being near the town center.

We were charged a cleaning fee for a property that needed attention. There were cobwebs and spiders in most ceiling corners. The mess of wires behind the TV was a potential fire risk. The yard was very scruffy and badly needed attention! Their charging system is broken. It took several emails to finally be charged for our stay. Despite providing us with a less than perfectly clean unit, they didn't waive the cleaning fee!

The property would have been very good if there was more attention to the cleanliness.

Location. Very quiet location and handy for the town centre.

Bathroom wasn't clean. The white plastic bath mat was black with mould, there were cobwebs in the corner of the window and the tops of the tiles and door handle was dirty. My wife cleaned it off with a sanitising wipe. The sound on the TV didn't work properly through the sound system. The previous occupants obviously had the same trouble as they had used the TV with captions.

proximity to Martinborough was great. comfortable accommodation😊

There were a few issues with this particular units cooking implements/ saucepans and electric frypan … no knobs on lids. Apart from that all good!

Great stay in this unit, much more comfortable than it looks.

Great unit, much better than expected. Extremely comfy and very well fitted out. The bed was very comfy, the bedding excellent, the bathroom was great, even a jacuzzi bath. The kitchen area was fitted out well, large TV, surround sound speakers, Wi-fi - just everything really was great. It was very quiet too. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing to dislike about the accommodation at all. However, the communication with the agents was poor - they didn't send our key code until we asked for it meaning that we couldn't get in at the allocated time but just generally communication with this company was lacking.

a bit tired

it is very close to the square. picturesque setting with grapevines growing over pergolas for each cottage. the aircon worked - although we needed to get new batteries for the remote

very uncomfortable bed. It consisted of two twin beds pushed together but no king size mattress or topper, so there was a ridge in the middle. no DVD remote No servicing for our whole stay - and only one tea towel Glass door over the bathroom leaked no response from the property manager

Good

Walking distance to most shops etc 10 minute leisurely pace. Bed was very good. Clean. We enjoyed the little deck area.we would stay again but for the showering experience.

The shower was terrible. Jets all clogged and splattered water all over the floor spilling around the toilet area. Had to use towels to mop up to avoid getting wet feet when using the toilet. No staff on site for queries.

The stay was disappointing because of a very uncomfortable 3 nights sleep for one of our party.

Location was good. Good and private.

The third member of our party found the 'put me up' bed in the lounge was very uncomfortable and not easy to keep warm because of a very thin mattress. A TV in the bedroom would have been good.

Loved the accommodation and its locality

All the facilities were clean and very well presented. No recycle bin for glass (bottles) but rang the host and they advised what to do so very minor here. Their response was quick and a simple solution.

Did what we needed

The convenience of the key already being on site. Close to town.

For the price paid, I would’ve thought there might’ve been a laundry, in each room or amenities room. No bins for bottles, and had all windows closed and could still hear aircon unit going in opposite apartment.

Our stay was very relaxing and very handy to everything we wanted

Didn't have breakfast and location was great

There was a comment in the room about the problem with insects but Flyspray wasn't provided which we found a little unusual but everything else was great.

bed was hard and electric blanket control right under where you sleep, shower pressure very low, bbq didn’t work properly so had to use matches, lack of utensils( no large knife) could’ve been cleaner( cob webs and dust behind and next to toilet), all brochures and info very outdated about area, expected a little more for the price we paid

Good property for a weekend and I would recommend.

The property is in a great location and is a good size for two people. Most of the amenities described in the write up were there and what I would expect to find Clean and tidy on arrival Quiet property

The sofa bed was uncomfortable to sleep on There was no cleaning supplies or vacuum as described so we couldn't clean up when we left. Description of bins and recycling wasn't up to date so were a bit confused but not the end of the world

24 Cologne was an awesome place to stay, exactly what the website stated. Everything we required for our stay was there, the location, cleanliness, and facility couldn't be faulted. Would definitely recommend this place to stay

UNIT 5 had LOTS of flys No flyswatter or spray to get rid of them Not great communication from property managers, no key left out & we had to wait half an hour for somebody to turn up with one I didn’t appreciate the Notes in the unit to encourage by-passing booking.com should we ever wish to stay again Not classy
