Central location, made it easy to store my bicycle while staying there, and very welcoming. I booked the private room that is basically just a couple beds and a desk, but didn’t need more because I was only there to sleep because there is so much to see and do in Dubrovnik.

Excellent location, very social atmosphere. Dorm beds had the features you want (shelf to charge your phone, good curtains, etc). Numerous events on offer. The old building is very cool.
Kitchen was in a bit of a state. Opened the fridge to find it warm and smelly, surfaces and dishes were dirty. Staff were hit or miss — some friendly and helpful, others quite cold. We arrived in our dorm to find the floor sticky with a several half-empty beers lying around from the last occupants.

There is a ‘water garden’ which is nice, bathrooms were clean and the room was clean and spacious.
Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the private room. The walls are very thin and you could hear people walking up the stairs or talking in the lobby area of the accoms. The facilities were spread between two buildings.

Very central location, the staff were great and the night life they provided was good,
You couldn’t put toilet paper down the toilet and so the bathrooms always smelt of poo due to the used roll being put into a bin, the pub crawl always went to the same two pubs, the beds weren’t the most comfortable and depending on which bed you got you didn’t have privacy on one side due to a lack of curtain and no rail to stop you from feeling like you could fall out, rooms also lacked places to charge phones having what seemed like more people than plug sockets
