What a truly beautiful holiday retreat.
The cottage was absolutely charming, surrounded by a gorgeous lake, beautiful birds and the most peaceful scenery. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming making us feel right at home. Thankyou so much Chris and Lynne.

Chris was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. He accompanied us to our cottage and explained everything to us. They had provided some lovely breakfast items and offered to supply anything else we needed. The view from our room was lovely and we were visited by lots of beautiful birds and animals. It was a delight. So peaceful and quiet and the fire stove was great on a cold day/night. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, fire and aircon were lovely and warm. We had a delightful stay and want to come back in warmer weather to see the beautiful gardens in flower. Highly recommend Granite Gardens if you are looking for somewhere to completely relax.
There wasn't anything we didn't like. Everything was great. A bit of a drive into town, maybe 10 minutes.

Great location, very peaceful & relaxing. From the moment you arrived & greeted by owner (Chris), beautiful cottage and surroundings, wonderful local food/treats given to us. All was magical and couldn’t fault anything. Great place as ‘pet friendly’.

We absolutely love staying here. This was our second time visiting and we can’t wait to visit again. Chris was a fantastic host and is full of helpful suggestions. The cottages are really cute and all overlook a beautiful lake and gardens which is so peaceful. We also love the homely touches with the breakfast provided (and the homemade rocky road!)
