I personally wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone as I left a day early , breakfast was meant to start at 830am but i

convenient location

Filthy floors which were disgusting in the bedroom and bathroom, lights switches dirty with peoples dirty fingers, two lights not working.

I did like the location it's near to everything, and it's very calm even though it's in the heart of the old medina, the staff were very kind the room was clean and comfortable, it's my second time and I always check their availability when I'm planning to come to essouira.

cool, peaceful retreat in heart of bustling Medina.

Cool shady old Riad with beautiful decor. Great food, shopping and sunsets within a few steps. Good beach too if you don’t mind the wind.

Like all traditional riads, the room was narrow with windows looking only inwards to the communal courtyard.

the road is in traditional decor, a grand entrance followed by traditional lounge, decor carrying up to roof terrace, location, staff excellent. bathroom could do with updating but overall fantastic stay

Good stay for budget travelling.

The location was excellent and the place was rather a hotel than a traditional riad. The room was big and the staff was very helpful and polite.

There was no window in the room so it was not much for a view. To get warm water in the shower took a while, though this is common in all accommodation in Essaouira.

Great Riad central in Essaouira

Clean riad with an amazing rooftop at a central spot in Essaouira. Staff is very friendly and helps you with things you need. They are also very flexibele with extra demands. Nice rooms, beautiful patio.

Location is perfect! right downtown close to the Medina. lots of good places to eat nearby. the place next door is fantastic for tagines etc. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. nice terrace for breakfast also!

We loved everything about the Wind Palace. The hotel was very clean and beautiful architecture. Our room was spotless and spacious. We had booked a room with a balcony which made it all perfect as we had acres of light in the room and we could sit and watch the world go by from the balcony. Definitely pay the extra to have one of these rooms, it will make your stay perfect. The staff were always very helpful and the lovely breakfasts were continental and suited about needs . 10 out of 10 all round!

Very convenient hotel at a great price and location in Essaouira. The breakfast was great on the roof terrace. Will definitely be back here.

Nothing much to report tbh especially at the price point. The hotel could benefit from som remodeling, as the bathrooms are quite old and so. Half of the reception was left in dark.

Very nice older hotel in a prime location.

Great location in a wonderful building. Breakfast was nicely served on the terrace. I was given a very nice room and everything was fine. I don't watch TV, so even though there was one I didn't try it out. Tjhe staff were efficient if a little cool It could have been a simple language problem (on my part).

I think the hotel is a very good value so there isn't much I didn't like. I suppose if I had been located on the 3rd floor the stairs might have become a problem, but, as it happened, I asked for a room on a lower floor and that's what I got. Ask for Room 6. It's the best,

Excellent value for the money in a centrally located, quaint Riad which is very charming.

Central location right in the middle of the Medina. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was simple, but that was what I wanted, so worked for me.

The only drawback is that the street noise can be a bit loud in the evening and the azaan (call to prayer) in the morning is very close by, so can be disturbing for some. (I wasn't too bothered by it)

Very comfy hotel room for a great price

The staff did a special breakfast for my friend and I before we left which was very kind of them. Breakfast is normally served at 8:30am but they did a breakfast for us at 7:15am so that we could eat before our flight.

Visited Wind Palace twice before. Location is on the main street of the old town, perfectly situated for exploring. The Hotel is very traditional, quite beautiful. Amenities are basic, but the rooms are quite large and very clean. Breakfast is served on the roof, with glorious views over the old town and out to sea. Typical fare - bread, cheese, yoghurt and preserves. The staff are delightful.

The beds are particularly hard and there is no hairdryer. However, the location trumps these minor niggles.

Beautiful riad in the heart of the medina, highly reccommended

The rooms with a window have much more light than the others as it´s normal but the inside ones area bit dark. The decoration is beautiful inside the rooms an all over the riad. The size was good and the beds as well. he breakfast is served upstairs in the terrace and is typical moroccan (soup, msemen, tea or coffee, spreads, orange juice, etc.). The staff were very friendly. The location is superb just at the entrance of th emedina, very convenient for everything. I would definitely reccommend it.
