I very much appreciated that one staff member was able to speak enough English to help me get situated in my room. She was very kind, as were the other staff members who did not speak English.
I had hoped to eat dinner at the hotel, but when I arrived back at the hotel in the evening, it was closed (I think without any prior notice). I was tired and needed to find a different place to eat. Also, I needed to leave early the next morning, and did not know how to check out or where to leave my key. I just left the key in the room and hoped that was OK.

The location of this property was perfect and a walking distance from the town center and several main attractions in cuenca. The room was very clean and the staff were all very friendly. Even though it was hot outside the room stayed cool. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to cuenca.

The staff were very welcoming and showed me all the best places to go in the city. They gave me the option of which room I wanted and when I said that I didn't mind they gave me a lovely room with a window overlooking the river. Me and my girlfriend loved it!

The room was big enough.
Not having a partner next room would of been more pleasant, they were having sexual relationships all the time and I could hear most of the thing which was very uncomfortable.
