Very friendly and helpful staff. We appreciated the extra services, especially the possibility to borrow a GoPro for free after booking several tours with the hostel. The laundry facilities were also very useful. The swimming pool looked clean and inviting, although we did not have time to use it. The hostel has a relaxed atmosphere and is a convenient base for exploring Bonito and the sourroundings.
The accommodation is quite basic, which fits the hostel concept. The snack bar food was average and service could be a little slow. Breakfast was fine but simple, and guests are expected to wash their own dishes afterwards. The shared laundry area can become busy when many guests want to use it at the same time.

Rooms were clean. Free towel was nice. Pool was clean.
Staff don't speak English which is fine but it shouldn't be advertised that they do. The booking of tours from them wasn't helpful and they were unable to find tours for us on two days but another external tour agency managed to find something. When asked to book a tour I was sent a very long PDF rather than having a chat with someone about the options available. We booked a bus to the airport through the hostel and, we weren't given a ticket and lead to a lot of confusion at the bus terminal.
