Hotel Guancascos is always a great experience and very accommodating to visiting groups. The food is excellent and the grounds are beautiful and relaxing.
Just be prepared with strong bug spray, I do always get mosquito bites.

The owner was very nice. The place was clean and settled nicely on the mountain. You got a true feeling that you were in Honduras. The hammocks were a special touch. There is so much to see and the grounds are beautiful.
It was an amazing property, I just wish there wasn’t so many steps.

Great location - just below the fort, with an easy walk to the centre. The owner was lovely, we had plenty of long chats with her. We were given some great tips for Parque Nacional Celaque. The food was excellent, as were the limonadas!
The parking entrance is very difficult and tight, particularly when there are other cars in the car park and traffic parked outside.

Food was excellent with a lovely view over the town and mountains. The garden was just gorgeous and lush. The owner and staff were so friendly.
Parking was tight but doable!
