The place is simply amazing. You feel welcome in a warm house. The staff speak perfect english, breakfast is fantastic, rooms are amazing. The dog.. Milo - we love this dog ;-)

Accueil très chaleureux. Nous avions la chambre Marie-Antoinette et avions l'impression d'être propulsée dans une autre époque. La table du petit déjeuner était magnifique

The property is beautiful, full of character & history.
Lovely rooms,
Our room was a twin which really we should have asked to move to a double room as there were other rooms available as only 1 other couple staying at the same time as us. The double room we saw had a bigger bathroom. Our room was nice and clean but very hot & stuffy. I did manage to get a fan but still a warm room. The bathroom was tiny and could hardly move in there plus the shower head was stiff to turn off.
The bed was comfortable but had to remove the undersheat which although it looked pretty and being linen it was rough and had to remove as not comfortable on our skin. Just a simple cotton sheet would have been fine.
For tea & coffee had to go down 2 flights of stairs, would have been nice to have this facility in our room. No tv either.
Breakfast consisted of tea/ coffee. Jams, fruit ,.youghurt, cereal, ham, bread , juice & croisants which were ok.
The lady in charge is very nice & helpful.
