Great location and views, nice living areas to hang out and comfortable beds
Extreme amount of moths in the property on arrival, while we were very cautious about keeping doors and windows shut (evening running in and out to avoid any moths getting in) and outdoor lights off they were unfortunately already in the house so wasn’t much we could do. Was particularly uncomfortable to sleep in the upstairs bedroom as moths would fly onto us. Windows could also do with a clean.

• Fantastic location with amazing views
• Lovely front garden and yard
• Spacious layout with good potential as a holiday rental
• Comfortable furniture – lounge, dining table, and beds were all good
• Bathrooms were clean and comfortable
• Heavy dust and mould, especially on the master bedroom ceiling fan, blinds, and window sills
• House needed to be aired out due to strong dusty smell
• Windows in the master are unsafe and not child-friendly (fly screens hanging off)
• Master bedroom air conditioner faulty and not working
• Sliding doors and fly screens corroded, difficult to use, and left gaps for insects – house was full of bugs and moths morning and evening
• Decking in need of repair
• Rusty, unsafe gas bottle left on the back deck
• Dirty windows with mould on sills
• No king bed as expected
• No beach access as the back staircase is extremely overgrown
The property has a lot of potential thanks to its location, layout, and furnishings, but it is badly let down by poor cleanliness, safety concerns, and lack of maintenance. We enjoyed our stay despite the issues, but would only return if these problems were properly addressed.
