We Loved It!

We absolutely loved this Bed and Breakfast. Very well thought out. The provisions left are enough for breakfast and dinner. I loved the bathroom…it is huge. Well located and a really quiet neighbourhood.

Provisions were very generous for breakfast. Apartment was spacious and well furnished. Nice touches everywhere such as the bowl of chocolates. A lovely place to stay.

The bed although very comfortable had soft edges and my husband fell out in the night and caught the side of his eye on the bedside cabinet. Parking was a problem on the side road particularly during school drop off and pick up. A bit far to walk to the main shops and restaurants.

Plenty of things we could have cooked but didn’t - fridge was well stocked. Great variety of cereals.

Skimmer milk instead of full cream. Fruit and tomatoes need to be left out on counter - spoilt when refrigerated

the stairs leading up to the room were a bit wobbly. so was cautious.

wine and roses is the perfect, peaceful paradise for your next adventure. pack your bags and head off on a little weeken

the accommodation was perfectly placed on the McLaren Vale map and provided us an amazing place to rest our heads, from the complimentary breakfast to the stunning fireplace and 4 poster bed, this place is superb. we looked visiting chapel hill and Gemtree wines along with many other stops. easily the best value for money accommodation. we will definitely return!

Very nice & quiet property, lovely big room with very generous breakfast provisions which you cook yourself. Complimentary bottle of wine & winery voucher was also a nice surprise

TV wasn’t the smart variety so unable to Bluetooth it, but movies were available via player provided

Lovely spacious room that was clean and comfortable and the self check in process was convenient and simple. We also loved the delicious breakfast and wine provided! The host also provided a voucher for the Chapel Hill winery premium tasting experience which was excellent. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the accommodation. We hope to be back soon!

we loved the surroundings and privacy - the accommodation is an easy walk to the cafes and restaurants (if they are open!)

our particular room had the kitchen sink in the bathroom and no dishwasher so hygiene was a bit of a worry as guests do their own dishes by hand

The kitchen “facilities” were very difficult to use as they were split into two parts: fridge/microwave/cutlery/crockery in one part of the apt alongside a “hanging space for clothes” and the sink and washing up area in the bathroom. No cooktop at all only a bbq on the deck outside and it was cold evenings and mornings. Breakfast supplies provided but mostly only used the tea and bread. Did not meet the owners - disappointing!

All the amenities and attention to detail made the stay extra special. The spa and fireplace were great and everything was comfy. Would recommend for couples who want a cute home base to enjoy the nearby wineries.
