This is our fifth visit to the Hilton, which has outdoor pools and extensive lakefront gardens. We have been growing disappointed with the Hotel in the past two years as the pool area and grounds have become less maintained. However, it was great to see that some of the paths and one of the main outdoor pools are being renovated for the summer season.
- The Executive Lounge provides a good range of drinks and snacks from lunchtime, and the happy hour buffet dinner with wines and spirits is good.
- Staff are always attentive and helpful, which is appreciated.
- The hotel grounds are well-kept
- Plenty of activities for younger children
- It was a reasonably good breakfast, but...
- Many staff members speak English, which is appreciated.
The hotel was quiet. (Beware of Chinese National Holidays; the hotel is full and incredibly busy and noisy!)
The outdoor buffet effectively cuts off the lake shore path, which is inconvenient. The outdoor cafe on the south side also blocks off the lakeshore.
- Restaurant/bar meals and outdoor buffets are costly
- The Executive lounge is closed in the mornings
- Breakfast offerings are very variable; there used to be some good Western offerings; however, this has become far more Chinese and less international, which is a shame

Staff were amazing. Food at the buffet and restaurants was wonderful.
The small blue light on the night light switch was so bright it kept us up, we had to find things in the room to cover it up.
The room service food was not good.

the room is comfort and the view from balcony is well done
it was taking too much time on the line to check in. there were so many people in the lobby and so noise. car park was not convenient as well.
