Large clean room with good facilities and pub very nice in great location close to Richmond without being Richmond prices. Breakfast was delicious with croissants, toast, cereals, juice, coffee, tea, yoghurt and fruit plus a choice of cooked breakfasts aswell. Good value for money.
However, even though good value for money, nothing beats a good night sleep which my husband and I didnt get. The double bed mattress needs replacing as it was very uncomfortable. We had to sleep on the quilt to get some comfort, with the small blankets over us, as the bedsprings were clearly felt even through the quilt. Just replace it.

The TV was complicated to use and the signal frequently got lost. Having to register for any channel I watched was irritating, so I didn't bother to watch anything.
I was lucky to get one of the free parking spaces in Lion Wharf, but I don't know what I would have done about parking otherwise.

Staff were friendly, pub was nice, room was clean, plenty of clean towels and location worked well for me.
The door lock needs to be changed key got stuck sometimes. The bed was very uncomfortable. It is an old building with thin walls and floors, I stayed on the first floor and didn't sleep much due to the room above me seemingly playing football until around 4.30 am! The TV had no terrestrial channels that worked (BBC,ITV etc) and the channels that did work stopped working around 8 pm and didn't come back on!
I was travelling alone so this was rather annoying.
