Beautiful place, super comfy beds, enclosed parking, tasty breakfast and very lovely owner. The beach is just a few minutes by car which adds to the stay. Eric even gave my family a tour who came to see us at the home.

Nothing all was lovely.

We were met by a very pleasant host. There was private parking, a swimming pool and nice gardens. We had a comfortable night and a good breakfast. It is in an excellent location for visiting Trouville, which a simple 5 minute drive away. Trouville has many attractions including a wide range of restaurants.

Quaint and interesting building.

Booking.com said it was an en suite room with shower or bath. We requested a shower. We got a reply saying we’d booked a room with a bath (not accurate). It was a very high, steeply sloping ceiling ed room with a mezzanine, which was interesting, but also meant we couldn’t stand up in the lower part of the room at one side of the bed. Breakfast was enough but not abundant - there was a limited amount of fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese, meat, and pastries. Just enough for the number of guests staying. We were surprised that, in Normandy, land of apples, no apple juice was on offer. In fact, only one glass of juice was provided and there were no eggs. The swimming pool was nice, large, warm, with plenty of loungers. Our ferry home wasn’t until the evening so we asked about a Kate checkout and were told we could use the garden (with the dog shit) and pool. We stayed briefly but, despite there being a non en suite bathroom next to our room which we planned to use before leaving, we were told to use a loo with no sink in the laundry shed. All of the above was ok but not great, but the thing that put us off and will mean we don’t return, was the owners’ dogs shitting on the lawn (where there were chairs and tables for guests) and it not being cleared up. Quite revolting.
