The apartment was huge with 2 bedrooms, a big living room and kitchen with dining area. The view overlooked the mountain and it was amazing. We came back in the evening and just sat at the balcony facing the mountains with a glass of wine. The street was really quiet so the atmosphere was simply so peaceful. Coming back to the apartment itself, it was spacious, clean, everything we needed. The toilet and shower areas were separately which was great. Location is fantastic, just a 2mins from the main street which would bring you anywhere else. The supermarket (and gas station) was just 5mins walk, and a nearby restaurant was 7-8 mins walk. Very convenient! I highly recommend this apartment!
The only thing is the shower area is pretty small. I found it a little tight even for me as an average size asian female. The entire bathroom area was spacious so I feel the shower area could be 1.5 to 2x the current size. Would make the shower more comfortable!

The house is beautiful and met all our needs. It was in a great location- so close to Ruapehu, restaurants, ski shop rental place, 4 square in walking distance. Beautiful views of the mount. Although no electric blankets, the wall heaters were sufficient downstairs, and the upstairs heating system was great... made for very cosy mornings!
Haha... not much we didn't like... maybe being picky, the rubbish bins!... we don't like the flip lids... they get messy easily! We would have preferred more than 1 towel each... wasn't sure if we were able to use others from the bags outside...

The location and view were fantastic and the reason why we booked this property. The host was lovely, she helped get the lockbox open over the phone as it was a bit tricky and allowed us to check out late which was very much appreciated. All along the communication was good and the apartment was comfortable and cozy. Overall we were really happy with our stay.
The upstairs was very warm and all the heat from downstairs seemed to end up there, leaving the bedrooms quite chilly overnight.
The kitchen was well equipped however, we arrived to find a large number of peppermint teabags but no normal tea, coffee, hot chocolate or sugar. After having had to walk to the apartment in the rain this was very disappointing.
There were ample towels etc. but no facecloths. There were also no toiletries which was OK as we had brought our own.
None of these are big things as such but they did detract from our stay a little, especially considering the cost of the two nights.
