Very quiet, chilled out place in a little residential street. Close walk to the Southern end of the Sanur beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice shower.
It is very southern, so a bike or transport is needed to go further than the beach. Our bathroom backed onto another rooms bathroom and as they were open roofed, you could clearly hear what was happening in each other's bathrooms.

The room itself was nice, we had a big patio, AC, comfy big bed, hot water at any hour for the shower.
Quiet and safe street.
Geckos are everywhere, but that is just Bali, i won't count them as a minus.
We did not use the pool, but it looked very clean.
We asked room cleaning once, via Whatsapp, they cleaned and changed towels
Place looks like it hasn't been properly kept, bathroom was disappointing, toilet seat old and didn't cover the toilet properly. We saw rats there - risk of having an outside bath, i guess. Needs renovation.
Photos make it look far nicer than it is.
Check-in (between 12 and 14) - we got there around 13 and were told the room wasn't ready. OK, no problem; we waited in the common space. No one came to tell us when it was ready; we asked at about 14.30.
Never met the owner or had any interaction with anyone there.

Friendly staff and aesthetic facilities. The breakfast was good quality (which you’d expect for the price).
Overpriced dorm, the pool water was quite cloudy and there is a lot of construction around which is out of their control - but means it is loud and not the most relaxing environment.
The yoga advertised on website is a different business located 25 min walk away (expect similar distances to Kuta city centre).
Not having a scooter available this was probably not the best choice for me.

Convenient location, nice pool, friendly helpful staff, we had a private lockable area to ourselves, bed was comfortable, undercover private outdoor sitting area had a fridge, lounge, table, chairs, sun lounge and daybed
The outdoor bathroom was a bit dated (as expected for the price) but it could have been a bit cleaner. Basin drained onto the ground behind the wall so that wasn’t ideal
