Overall, we had a very good experience. A special mention definitely goes to the staff and the owners, who were incredibly kind, welcoming and always available to help. Their hospitality really made a difference!
The location is definitely the biggest highlight of the hotel. It is right in the heart of Fira, just behind the main square and less than a 2-minute walk from the bus station, where all the buses to the airport, port and main destinations leave, as well as many excursion tours. It is extremely convenient for exploring Santorini.
The room had all the essential amenities, including toiletries, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, and a kettle. We also really appreciated the complimentary water and snacks provided in the room — a very thoughtful touch!
Unfortunately, the rooms are not very well soundproofed, so you can hear quite a lot of noise from outside and from other rooms. The staff kindly provided us with earplugs, which we appreciated, but this is still not ideal if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
The air conditioning was also quite noisy, even when using the night mode, and it seemed to be an older model.
Another area that could be improved is the bed and pillows. The pillows were very low and not particularly comfortable, while the mattress was quite hard and unfortunately left us with some back pain after sleeping on it.
Overall, we still enjoyed our stay, especially thanks to the wonderful staff and unbeatable location.
