The room was lovely and cosy,and the location was perfect. The staff and owner Anna were lovely, and gave us a lovely surprise on 31st wedding anniversary . Even got to meet Anna’s very friendly Labrador, Whistler.
Pillows could be updated.

Guest house was very nice, and we had a warm welcome when we arrived. Our room was on the ground floor which made life very easy for my wife's dodgy knee. The room was very spacious, and emaculately clean, with a really nice bathroom and shower soaps. We were directed into the city which is a brilliant place, with lots good bars and eateries! If you just want to bring a takeaway back, (or I suppose just order), there is a very nice side lounge you can use, or sit outside. The actual walk into the city took all of 30 minutes, if that.
A really comprehensive buffet breakfast was laid out for us in the morning, dishes of fruits, yogurts, cereal's meats etc, a real continental breakfast. You couldn't ask for more.
All in all, a very nice guest house, and you couldn't ask for anything more.
There is a road to the front, but it didn't bother us in the least, even though it got a bit busy on the early morning rush hour.
I can't really think of anything that we didn't like about Kingfisher Lodge, it's such a lovely place!

Beautifully styled property with plenty of character. A comfortable accommodation with a spacious room and sitting area, along with a spacious bathroom.
