About this house rental
Situated in Goshen, this lovely house for $428 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Two acres of private property with lush greenery and heated pool in the heart of horse country. Sleeps up to 6 with 3 BRs and 2.5 bath. Den with TV and large Living Room with TV & stereo system. Large eat in kitchen with separate dining room. Central air conditioned, washer dryer. Backyard has heated pool with patio and deck and comfortable lounge chairs and outdoor eating area. Weber propane BBQ on the deck. Close by to Goshen Fairgrounds, Lime Rock Raceway, Music Mountain, antique shops, numerous hiking trails and lakes. 30 minutes to the Berkshires, 15 minutes to Litchfield, 45 minutes to Tanglewood. 15 minutes to Tyler Lake if bringing boat. Skiing nearby for winter getaway.

Almost everything one needs is there… there were a few glitches but the owners responded quickly in resolving the issues that came up. Most helpful indeed… this is our second stay and we will look forward to another next summer. Dry pretty setting nestled in the woods but close to all Litchfield area has to offer

This home was fabulous! The grounds, the house, the pool and deck were wonderful. We were 6 adults who were looking for a place to unwind, swim in the pool, lounge on the deck and barbeque every evening. The kitchen was outstanding and the den and living room, both with tv's gave us so much space to lounge inside. The dining room was very big and really made our dining experience a pleasure.The beds were comfortable and the whole house was nicely decorated, clean and very inviting. Can't wait to return next year. The owners were very helpful and nice. An altogether great experience.

This is a beautiful property, well located, and well provisioned. It gets our highest recommendation.
Our only quibble is that Covid is over, and a fully equipped rental should now include sheets and towels.

We thought that for a rental costing much more than a nice hotel, COVID should not be used as an excuse for not supplying sheets and towels. At least not at this point where mask wearing is rare.
Otherwise it was a fine, clean house in a very pleasant rural spot. 15min to Mohawk Mtn skiing.
Accommodations were nice but nothing luxurious. The master bedroom has a very small "master" bathroom with room for one person at a time, and a larger adjoining bathroom meant for the the use of the other two bedrooms.
The kitchen is very well equipped including an induction cooktop, but there is only a Keurig coffeemaker with a limited number of capsules and no regular coffeemaker that we would have used with the coffee we had brought.
The water heater broke on our first night, but it hopefully will be replaced by the time the next renter arrives. The owner offered a $200 refund in a gesture for our short “army” showers.
All in all, 4 stars, not 5.

Perfect rental if you want a nice house with a great pool. There is not so much around, which was good for us. It would be perfect for 3 couples or a family with kids. My family and my sister’s family stayed the week and the 3 cousins swam all day.

Pool fun and natural calm
Great location for some quiet family time with all the comfortable perks. Kids loved the pool and garden. Lots of nice spaces both inside and out. Clean kitchen w/ nice appliances and everything to suit cooking needs. Overall a quality house within good access to the cute city of Litchfield and ample day activities. The fresh cut flowers awaiting us was a lovely gesture from the owners as well.

Had a small girls weekend, the property was great. Easy to find, but very secluded and relaxing. The pool was amazing, place is close to a few vineyards. Everyone loved it! Thank you!

Kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need including spices and other basic necessities. The heated saltwater pool was amazing. Kids had so much fun swimming all week. We had a wonderful stay here! The hosts are excellent and communication was great. Enjoyed the house esp the well maintained pool, kids loved every bit of it. Kitchen was well stocked. Also enjoyed local activities- kayaking and paddle boarding on Tyler lake, bike trails, visit to sunset meadow vineyard and Thorncrest dairy and chocolate farm. All in all a great week!

Grandchildren came for a day and went home in the evening.
We had a not too easy a time sleeping as we have a rather firm king bed at home, but we slept in different rooms. Pool was fantastic. Garden was beautiful! Kitchen was a dream. Very well equipped. And lots of bathrooms were terrific.

Our only negative we found was that the hot water heater didn't provide enough hot water for consecutive showers.

The landscaping around the pool is absolutely stunning, we loved sitting on the deck after a day of pool fun. Perfect getaway for complete relaxation and family friendly.

Pristine pool, beautiful home
The home is gracious, perfect for families. The pool is heated and pristine. The property has beautiful gardens and a frog pond, visited by a Great Blue Heron. Quiet, private, relaxing. The owner was easy to communicate with. A couple of good restaurants nearby, and close to Historic Litchfield.

The furniture, electronics, cookware, heated saltwater pool, comforts, etc were all top notch. Beautiful yard with flower garden and some vegetables. Lots of privacy. 10-15 minutes to town. While we had a little problem during our stay, the owners were fast to remedy the problem. Great people (the owners). Highly recommended. Would return in future.

Beautiful and peaceful getaway
My family and I had a wonderful time. The property and home are so beautiful! We loved how peaceful and tranquil the area was. The pool was so wonderful. All of use enjoyed it. Everything was super clean and well stocked with spices, appliances, cook wear, flare wear etc Loved having the binder with all the instructions and places nearby that we can check out/visit. The owners were a text or phone call away with any questions. I would highly recommend this place.
