Step inside to marvel at the architecture – hardwood floors and a wooden beamed roof house modern art, antique treasures and a design-led living area. There is a dedicated work space in a nook on the ground floor, and the kitchen is well stocked for whipping up home cooked meals. Upstairs on the mezzanine level there are two cosy bedrooms, and a chalet style bathroom with a huge bathtub for soaking in after the day’s activities. On sunny days, set out and explore your surroundings. Designed by a landscape architect, there is a beautiful sight at every turn. Head down to the circular wooden canopy for a picnic, or walk along the stream until you reach the lovely covered bridge. There is a private pond for swimming and kayaking, which is the perfect place to cool off after a walk through woodland and meadows. When you arrive back home, dine al fresco at the outdoor table, surrounded by picture-perfect scenery. The quaint town of Litchfield is an eleven minute drive away, where you’ll find grocery stores, antiques shops, and galleries.
