Proximity to beach a Thai feel for accomodation rather than a hotel
No gym facilities available and breakfast was ordinary coffee very poor

Loved the location and staff was very accommodating even if we didn’t need housecleaning, they assisted in everything. Saw another staff replaced the outdoor shower head immediately upon request when we witnessed another guest broke the shower wash head when she didn’t know how to use it and accidentally sprayed on us when we were lounging by the washing area. Provided clean fluffy on the house beach towels to use. The owner is very nice and cares for her property well along with her staff and her Pomeranian dog is so adorable. If our family of four ever return to Koh Sumai, we will stay here again.
We had mosquitos in the room upon check in and had it not been so late, we would have asked the staff to spray our room to avoid being bitten.

Location and beach first room was good
Staff is good but the manager was very mean and uncooperative at all , she gave a lesson about tourism in Koh Samui and touristic faculties just because I asked her to send somebody to fix the shower manhole . Also, I had to wait 4 hours to check in and when I told her that I got a positive reply from her for early check in she claimed that she approved it because she thought it is pm not am !!! Why should I ask for early check in if it is pm ! Honestly very bad behaviour

The lady on reception was lovely
The lady running the place was spying on me and accused me of taking pics of the building work going on. I wasn't although my beach front room was spoilt by work being done on either side so not relaxing. I asked to move further back and she suggested I leave as disrupting other guests! She made me show my phone to the guy in charge of the building work who then deleted all the photos on my phone which were not of the place I was staying but all my holiday photos. I was devastated but scared of saying anything at the time. I couldn't move as had one night left and nowhere nearby was within my price range. I did get a room further back but the whole experience tainted my last 2 nights in kho samui.
