Overall experience of my stay was seamless from checking in to dinner to checkout, excellent service and place to stay with family. Dinner was excellent, breakfast was excellent. Will for sure make Mayfair our regular staying place moving forward. Loved it.

Very clean and comfortable

Staff tried their best given the extenuating circumstances of a "wake" being held which disrupted their services.
It was a very sad affair and we were happy to accommodate the change.
The bed was well made and comfortable.
The facilities were adequate for an overnight stay
Unfortunately I selected the Mayfair because it had a restaurant on site so we did not have to leave the grounds after a long day of travel. Due to the above circumstances our plans had to change and we had to travel to town for a meal.
The price of the room was a premium price. The size of the room is small.
Their was a stale odour in the room on entry. The room was not cleaned well. The bedside tables had sticky rings from bottles or glasses and sticky drips which meant that surfaces had not been cleaned. The white grout on the shower walls was mouldy and there is a 40 to 50mm area around all of the floor tiles in the ensuite and bedroom area which is grubby.
We are staying in a motel tonight which smelled very fresh on entry. The room is larger with additional chairs and coffee table.
An outdoor sitting area. They have comparable facilities and $70 cheaper.
