Lovely hotel which was used to break our journey home from the New Forest. Very clean and had the usual hospitality tray with tea, coffee, milk and sugar. We had our evening meal at the Paisley Pear and it was lovely and the service was excellent. The pub was nice to sit in for our evening drinks too. The staff were very attentative and friendly.
Nothing, apart from the air con wouldn't turn down below 19 degrees so we were a bit hot during the night. Bottled water would be a nice addition along with the little packets of biscuits which you always used to get on your hospitality tray.

It seemed odd that the reception was separate from the hotel, located in the nearby pub.

Very clean. Location good for what we needed for the night. There's a pub next door which has very nice staff.
Uncomfortable beds and a pretty poor bathroom.
