1 wk stay in late August 2026.
Good weather was a bonus.
Very convenient for Wooler Town Centre.
Close to all local amenities and a great base for walking or cycling.
Free car parking just a few metres away from front door, but car park only holds about 8 or 10 vehicles, and it fills up very quickly, especially at weekends.
If you get a spot in there, don't move your vehicle until you are leaving...!!
Cottage very comfortable for us (couple) but can sleep up to 4 people.
Very comfy bed in double bedroom, and we only used twin to store our bags etc.
Well equipped kitchen, with large fridge/freezer, as well as washing machine and dryer. I've seen a comment in another review about slowish Wi-Fi, but we found it to be absolutely fine, and were using numerous Wi-Fi dependant bits of tech.
Handy local well stocked Co-oP at bottom of street open late, and enough Pubs & Take-Aways to keep everyone happy. No1 Hotel serves great food. All round very cozy cottage and a great place to stay for your trip to Wooler..
Would definitely recommend.. ๐

Perfectly situated for exploring Northumberland. Wooler is a lovely small town with excellent local amenities. The cottage was clean and tidy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The car park is very close and we parked there every evening (between 4-6pm) with no problem. We stayed for a week in July and would happily return.

Perfect location for visiting north Northumberland.
The shower, which was a shower above the bath had only one temperature, which was hot!

Inside the cottage,was very nice, everything you could need
No outside space at all-so therefore not pet friendly. Even being out all day you need a bit of outside space.
