Het gemak van inchecken, de behulpzaamheid. Het appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooie grote tuin met een prachtig uitzicht op het meer en de bergen. Het was heerlijk rustig en binnen een paar minuten zaten we aan de boulevard in het haventje. We hebben genoten!

Het was erg koud en vochtig in het appartement.

The property is beautiful with stunning views of the lake and the mountains. It is peaceful and quiet. We were there in late May and the garden jasmine was in full bloom. The property is somewhat remote but very close to a small train station (Piona) from where you can take local trains to Varenna and other nearby villages. It is a lovely place to visit to disconnect from the bustle of the city.

The nice looking pool was unusable for us. The kids had red spots after 30 min in the water and skin was totally wrinkled. The pool water had a very chemical taste, not just regular chlorine. We approached the owner who after taking a water sample told my wife “not my problem” We overall did not feel very welcome unfortunatly

Before our arrival, Elena had sent us her location via whatsapp, to make it easy for us to find location. We had shared our location as well, and Elena was waiting for us on arrival. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We were travelling with 3 people (my partner, our 7 month old baby and myself). Villatrecariole was the ideal location, our baby could sleep during the day while my partner and me could enjoy the (very large) garden & the swimming pool. You have a view on the Como lake from the garden - so it felt like we were close to the lake - but having the peace of nature. We also received fresh vegetables & salad out of their garden every morning - which was a very nice addition. We really enjoyed our holiday and would recommend it highly!

Location was perfect with a picturesque view of Lake Como. The villa and surroundings were beautiful, clean and extremely family friendly. Our hosts were very welcoming and made our stay so comfortable.
