The hosts were really nice. They came and picked me up from the port and also delivered me back to the port when it was time for me to return. There was no additional charge for this. But once I was there, I could see why this was necessary. It's not easy to find a bus or a taxi so it is kind of essential. And then once you are there, it takes a bit of effort to get anywhere, on foot or by bus. I didn't see any taxis. The apartment was very clean which I really appreciated, but it was lacking other touches that make you feel welcome. For example, a single take-away packet of olive oil.

I thought that the space was clean and well-kept but overpriced. The bed was poor quality. I was only there for two nights but it was not great. The internet did not work. I had to use my very expensive international data the entire time that I was there. The host apologized and assured me that it would be reset, but there was no internet the entire time that I was there. The studio that I had was on the first floor in the front of the building right on the street. It was a very loud and not very relaxing space, motos passing at all hours. In general, I found the area somewhat unpleasant. There is a very nice beach down the cliff that I enjoyed. But aside from the time I spent on the beach, I found the area somewhat uninspiring. There should be a foot map to the nearest supermarket which is quite a ways downhill; somewhat dangerous to walk on the road and easy to get lost if you can find the side stairs.

Great location and view on the sea, coast and Stromboli, comfortable and practical studio. They made themselves very available and friendly! The bus is 10mn walk but the owner took us to the port and city whenever possible. I am delighted to have stayed here!

Owner Luis Rodolfo picked me up from ferry which was so kind. Rosey, mgr, very helpful and always in contact via whatsapp. I booked 7 days and loved it so much i extended my stay. Location is serene with perfect view across canetto bay and to islands from my balcony. Best beach in lipari is across from apartment down steps (your daily exercise). I hiked whole island in 1 day and definitely recommend. Roads in morning are quiet for walking..i ate in cannetto and rec 'lo spiedano eolie' amazing frottura de calamari! Supermarket deco 5 min walk and has best deli counter and cheap..apartment is pergect for cooking. I was solo traveller and forgot the world in Lipari! I definitely recommend stella del mattino for your stay! Garzie mille

Everything perfect!

Lovely apartment with common area balcony for eating and relaxing in the breeze and admiring the view. Kitchen facilities where we cooked pasta a couple of nights. Great host, helpful and friendly.

Shower outlet did not work, only the hand held which had no mount. Further from town than we realised especially since it is so hilly but we saw the distance when we booked so that's on us but mind the hills and steps.

The view is the best thing. Right over the bay of Cannetta. The apartment is simple but clean. There’s a supermarket close by, but you need to be prepared to walk up lots of steps! We didn’t hire a car & in the day time the buses weren’t so regular to the apartment, but the owner kindly came to pick us up. Good communication on WhatsApp.

Just be aware you are a bus ride away from the main town, and from the apartment to the beach & bus stop are lots of steps. It’s fine and not a problem but just be aware!
