Solo female traveller, I liked everything about this hotel. The room was big and brand new. I was at the Raddisson the week before for double the price, and honestly I saw no difference.
Felt very safe here and also had a meal at the restaurant inside the hotel, it was very nice.

The room itself was clean, the shower was excellent
This was a really disappointing stay. We thought we’d booked a premium hotel with roof top pool and bar. On arrival the first thing we did was go up to the roof to find the whole thing closed. Not even a cushion on any of the chairs so they could be enjoyed. On enquiring we were just told, no it’s closed. Ok, well that’s not what is being advertised 🤦♀️. The pool itself was open and looked nice but there was not a soul in sight and in order to get any sort of drink you had to go downstairs to level 1, stand in the bar for a very long time to then eventually be served the wrong drinks. We didn’t make a fuss as it really wasn’t worth it and the staff we spoke to were very sweet but just said they were short staffed and had 3 events on. This is a conference/ wedding hotel, not somewhere to stay for a relaxing break and the roof top bar is non existent 😢. Hallway carpets need a serious deep clean as are all stained and certainly not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel and at the price we paid it was daylight robbery
