Dinning room table is custom made from thick pine and cedar legs. Tiki bar is centered in the great room. Multiple covered and uncovered decks with lake view. If your looking for an upscale waterfront vacation home you should check out our pictures. This North Hero vacation oriented waterfront home is located at the end of a private road. Large back yard with multiple apple trees and open space. Pro-Bass Fishermen, this is where you want to be. Some of the frequently visited hot spots are along our property shoreline and multiple others close by. Dock power available! No need to drag your boat out at night! The house was designed inside to look like a post & beam home. The walls & ceilings are all pine boards. Large beams encompass the great room, kitchen, porch & covered deck. The great room has a tiki bar and custom made pine dinning room table with cedar legs. Floors are done in bamboo, wide pine boards, slate tile & old wood design tile. A private beached with a gradual slope. The Boat launch is a shared country boat launch on the property. Floating dock for your vessel or too fish or just hang out on! Power is available at the shoreline to charge your trolling motors. Boat Launch on property! The useability is based upon Lake condtions, size of your boat, trailer and vehicle used for the launch. Plenty of room to store your boat trailer. If you are looking to fish from shore you will find a plentiful supply of sunfish, perch, rock bass, crappies and an occasional bass or northern. For those looking to kayak or canoe the area is nicely protected from the wind and wildlife is plentiful! If your looking to take your boat to breakfast, lunch or dinner there are restaurants on the water. There are also two marinas close by. If your seeking a family vacation with lots of outside space or a fishing trip with your friends this is where you want to be! Linens/Towels: Linens & Towels are not provided. You know those vacation properties where you get there and the house isn't half as nice as the pictures looked? Or the grill doesn't work and the owner is nowhere to be found? Well this is definitely NOT that property! The house was amazing, every bit as beautiful as the photos, the location perfect, and the owners made themselves available throughout the booking and our stay to answer all.of our questions. Top notch property, great hosts, a wonderful vacation!

So much more that we expected!! The house has so much space, great location, beautiful views and property. The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and a large pantry to store the essentials. The showers had great water pressure which is always a plus. The bar area added a nice space to serve drinks of your choice! Larry and Mary were wonderful to deal with and very responsive . We will definitely be looking to go back!!

By far one of our best vacations ever! The lodge was beautiful with plenty of room. Fishing from the dock also did not disappoint. Reserved for next year already!!

Mary and Larry have created a lovely lakefront vacation property. The house is spacious and well-appointed, and worked perfectly for our group. We loved the large deck and especially appreciated the covered section that let us be outside even when it rained. We will be back!

Another great week at North Hero.
The house is great. Rooms spacious. The kitchen, dining, & relax area are on1 floor. Comfortable bedrooms are below and quite lovely. There is a bunk room on the 3rd floor, but we didn't have children with us on this trip.

There were 8 of us, 4 couples. We never felt too close. There is so much room. We loved having a boat ramp and dock on property. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us for the week!!

Our group had a great time at Larry's property! Beautiful Home on the water
We spent a great week and enjoyed all the standard New England Weather, hot, cold, sun, rain. The house was fantastic for all conditions. There is plenty of room inside the beautiful wood furnished home. Outside, there is a huge yard, and the lake was shallow so we could walk out in the water during the day, and enjoy the firepit at night.
We spent a lot of time on the deck in the back, looking out to the water. It is covered and gave us the ability to sit outside during the rain.

Wonderful place to stay! The lodge style building is impressive and Larry/Mary are very accommodating. Super nice people. Rooms are large and plenty of space for everyone. Our kids settled right in really enjoyed the stay. We didn't want to leave!

Outstanding In Every Way
This was quite possibly one of the best vacations we’ve all had. Not sure how, but the property was even bigger and better in person than the pictures show. Ample room for everything you could possibly want indoors or outdoors. Amenities are well maintained and comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Owners are responsive and accommodating . Could not have enjoyed this week any more than we did.

Great House on the Lake
This home is spacious and quiet with all the amenities. It is located on the lake with few other houses. We spent much of our time on the large decks watching the lake and the ever changing sky. The house itself has good sized bedrooms and a large kitchen that opens onto a dinning/living room. There is a cute bar set up in the living room as well. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and biking. We fully recommend this home & location for a lovely Lake Champlain get away.

Family Get Away
We rented the home with another family. Larry was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. He offered all sorts of help and advice for the area. The spacious upstairs and massive gated deck were perfect for the crawling babies and rambunctious 5 year old.

Paradise on the Lake
First let me say that Larry the owner could not have been a nicer guy. He greeted us upon arrival and assisted me with the boat I had rented for the week on more than one occasion. There was even a welcome basket on the Tiki Bar. The property is is in excellent condition and is right on the lake with an 80 foot floating dock. The 3 girls all aged 10 loves the bunk room on the upper floor. The views were great and a good time was had by all.

It was just what I needed!
This house is beautiful, spacious with a relaxing Adirondack vibe. Plenty of deck space in the sun or shade for lounging and eating dinner with a Lakeview. It is so quiet and peaceful-you can't help but relax! If you have kids and/or a dog-a great place for both. The kids really enjoyed the bunk bed loft area. My dog loved roaming around the large back yard, watching the birds from the porch and taking a swim! Larry and Mary were available as needed and super friendly. Even had a nice gift basket waiting for us when we arrived! I would highly recommend this place.

One of the best vacations we have ever had!
Larry and Mary were very welcoming and helpful. House and property in great shape with plenty to do that we rarely left. Fishing and fires. Meals on the deck. Waking to birds and sounds of the lake. Larry’s fishing tips made for a GREAT time with amazing catches right off the dock. Wonderful place to relax and take a break. Thanks for being such good hosts!

The owners were accommodating and the property is very nice. It is some distance back from the water and the dock was not easy to use. ( in fairness the water was extremely low and made the dock difficult to use). I would suggest asking the condition for launching previous to your arrival so you can plan accordingly.
We arrived slightly early just to investigate and make sure we could find the property and the owner was kind enough to offer an early check in.
We were not able to make use of the deck which is very nice and large due to weather. and there is a large amount of space for outdoor activity right at the property and it is very private.
Lastly they left a basket of goodies for us on the very nice bar...was a nice touch.

Great Friend or Family vacation house.
The kitchen can fit more than one cook and we had many family members contributing to meals. The rooms were perfect for adults and children. The boys, almost 7 & almost 12, did quite well in the upstairs bunk room. The openness of the floor plan on the main floor was perfect for interacting while cooking. The deck outside has a good view of the lake. The first floor bedrooms were comfortable with sturdy but attractive furniture. The dock was great; our fishing boat on one side & our daughter & husband's pontoon boat on the other side with no problems.

Best vacation spot ever
We cannot say enough good about this property. We love this house. It provides more than ample space for our family of 10 (and growing). Four large bedrooms, a large, fully equipped kitchen, choice of covered and uncovered deck space, large gas grill, and a great dock. The space is bright, open and airy. We love the lake. Access to the water is great and there is a great dock that dwarfs our two jet skis. Our hosts are personable and accommodating. All summed up, this is the best vacation property that we have ever rented. Given the chance, we hope to be back again in the future.

Great week in North Hero in a lovely house.
The rooms were nicely furnished with dressers & good sized closets.. The kitchen had plenty of work space and was well equipped. The furniture was comfortable. The deck has sufficient seating & a great view. We had a great time. The only suggestion would be to put shades in the bedrooms on the east side. 4:30 am is very bright. We look forward to our next visit.

Another year, another great vacation!
This is our 2nd year renting this gorgeous house. We can't imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Lake Champlain. The location is beautiful and convenient. The house is awesome with a great view of the lake from the deck. The boat ramp and dock located on the property is a great feature if you are into boating or fishing. The fishing in the immediate area has been awesome during both of our visits. The owner has been gracious and wonderful to deal with. If you are considering a vacation in this area this a wonderful house to consider. We have made so many memories here and hope to visit many more times in the future.
