The apartment was more spacious than expected. It was cool, clean and well stocked for water, coffee, tea and cleaning products. A definite highlight was the hospitality of Luca and family. Not only did he provide a wealth of information (not the stock std brochures) but also a home baked torta and a bottle of wine.

Location - in the heart of the old town and steps from several swimming spots - very welcome in the August heat.
Convenient as a base for exploring other areas (we had a car.)
Clean and well equipped apartment - very comfortable for 2 of us.
Luca the owner was exceptional. Always available and responsive, with many ideas for where to go and what to do.
If you need to use the bathroom at night you have to descend the steep staircase from the loft to the main floor (we knew this in advance and it wasn’t a big deal for us.)

beautiful apartment, fantastic location, the rooftop terrace was fantastic, there was no noise and a very quiet area. everything worked as it should.
Luca our host was absolutely fantastic and helpful. he helped with good restaurants and general information about the city.

It's a cozy nice apartment in the middle of Ortigia.
The amenities were plenty and sufficient, with a little kitchen, a fridge and a coffee maker. The AC works fine which is needed in that area. Luca is a really good host and an absolutely nice guy and he took care of everything really. You couldn't ask for a nocer host really.
I didn't dislike anything in particular, I got exactly what I booked
