Our stay at Villa Atheras was, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful and memorable holidays we have ever had.
From the moment we arrived, Angela and Yaya welcomed us with such genuine warmth, kindness and care. They are among the most authentic, respectful and loving people we have ever met. Their hospitality went far beyond anything we could ever have expected from a host.
We travelled with our three dogs, and Angela thought of absolutely everything to make both us and our dogs feel comfortable and completely at home. Doggy beds, blankets, bowls, cleaning wipes and even a roller for removing dog hair from our clothes were already waiting for us. She also provided extra covers for the beds, allowing our dogs to move freely around the house as if it were their own home. For people travelling with dogs, this level of understanding, acceptance and hospitality is incredibly rare and deeply appreciated.
Angela’s care extended to every part of our stay. For my partner’s birthday, she surprised us with a birthday cake, balloons and beautiful flowers. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture, and one we will never forget. She did not simply make us feel like welcome guests. She made us feel celebrated, cared for and part of the family.
The villa itself is stunning, beautifully cared for and exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and every morning Angela even brought us fresh bread from the local bakery. The pool and the views are breathtaking, and the peaceful location on the edge of the village offers the perfect balance. You feel connected to authentic village life while enjoying complete privacy and tranquillity.
Atheras itself is an extraordinary place. It is raw, green, peaceful and wonderfully untouched, far away from the busy crowds, yet almost everything you may want to explore is reachable within approximately 30 minutes. It is the perfect place for anyone who wants to experience the authenti

A truly special place to stay. Everything has been thought of. You can have fresh bread delivered daily, there are so many thoughtful touches, it’s wonderfully clean and so well equipped. Drinks and food in the fridge to welcome you, lovely bathroom essentials, loads of fluffy towels for the house and beach. Even different types of washing powder for the washing machine. Great air conditioning. Sun loungers and umbrellas to borrow for the beach and lots of comfy places to lie or sit around the immaculate pool. It’s close to a lovely sandy beach Atheras and quite a few others. A car is essential.
Honestly nothing. The whole family agreed this was the best villa we have ever stayed in, in Greece.
