The apartment was in a peaceful area, with outside space to sit. A well maintained property, clean and comfortable.
The beds were comfortable, the shower was excellent. There was plenty of space for dining and for relaxing.
We were delighted to find lots of provisions in the kitchen on our arrival, including milk, butter, bread, jams, cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits.
The bathroom was equally well stocked, with M&S toiletries, as well as toothpaste and lots of other useful items.
We really appreciated the fact that the heating was easily controllable and not restricted, as it was a bit chilly when we arrived.
Plenty of books were available for guests to read and information was left about local facilities.
There was a bus stop outside the apartment, and we were able to travel into Durham easily. Would recommend Bells chip shop restaurant, for the best fish and chips.
If I were to nit pick, I would suggest bins in the bedrooms. But it is only nit picking.

Good location, safe easy parking behind house, very well equipped with toiletries, breakfast items, utensils etc
Beds very comfortable, nice large lounge with dining area.
Bathroom was a little tight and could do with an update

The location
Bed was small and any movement woke the partner, tv small poorly located, shower wasn’t the best and hot water wasn’t really hot. Bars of soap left to use although had already been used by previous people. Not a good look. Breakfast was supplied which was a lovely idea but consisted of an open box of cereal, a few slices of bread in opened bag.
