Not social at all but nice hostel

Location was great. It was in a gated community with security by the front gate. Overall the hostel looked amazing, but having a reception with a “bar” in the middle could have been better used. Would have been nice with a proper coffee. Beds were good and all in all clean. Staff didn’t speak much English except the guy walking around renovating. Nice person

Having a bathroom and shower inside the room, without a door to close that area off made it smell musky and tbh like pee. All the time. Would be nice to be able to air that out.

Very good

We had the Deluxe room which was very spacy in very cool industrial design and AC. Personnel did speak excellent English, was very engaged and helped us with our onwards travel; the attached restaurant has a nice range and cosy design, though a bit pricy. Supermarkts and restaurants und walking distance. Payment through Booking.com possible; bathroom amenities available

Very far outside the city; I sent a couple of questions ahead through Booking.com, but never received an answer (when we were onsite, staff was very helpful); cancellation policy

Cute stay but no atmosphere

Cute hostel, pretty to take pictures Nice restobar next door

Location wasn't so great, would book something closer to old town next time Lacking atmosphere Staff didn't speak English at all so communication was rough, even for simple things like luggage storage Any other questions like tours or bus I gave up on No mirror in basic solo room

i like the location. it is near the bus stop, near the supermarket, near the mall.

the room is not sound proof specially if there is an event outside.

Pretty and affordable

I love the ambiance of the place. It's beautiful and quiet with lots of corners and spaces to take pictures in. The staff are also very friendly and accomodating.

The room we stayed at had a faulty fuse box, I think. So we had no heater in our bathroom. If it wasn't for the heavy rains and cold weather, it wouldn't have been much of an issue.

Relaxing and comfortable stay in Cebu

Very friendly staff, helped me out with many personal questions and gave travel advice. Good WiFi and facilities.

Not as nice as the pictures, the room had holes in the ceiling and spiderwebs, did not meet expectations. It was close to transport though, and the staff was nice!

GREAT VALUE PRIVATE ROOM

Love the decor, little pool, comfortable private rooms with a/c. bed was super comfy.

the bathrooms had a pretty strong sewage smell but really just minor things! I think they should have a kitchen for use or offer breakfast because breakfast is very limited in the area.

Lively stay in Cebu suburb

you have to be noise-tolerant in this hostel. It’s either large groups or a resident DJ in the central lobby who will keep you awake beyond midnight. To be fair, management lowered the volume of music by itself after 10pm. Staff is very friendly (but speaks limited English) and the adjacent restaurant/bar has good Filipino breakfast, coffee, juices and fresh nata pastries. Beds are very soft, which can be nice, but maybe not for everyone.

Bathrooms have a moisture problem and give an overall bad impression. Water dripping from the ceiling, wall paint peeling of from water and mouldy smell in rooms. When we asked for help to fetch a big enough taxi to the airport, staff was rather helpless and waived a drunk taxi driver with a broken car from the street, whose car was too small to fit our luggage, even though there are larger premium taxis on call available in Cebu.
