My husband got sick during our stay, and the staff were incredibly sweet and helpful! They looked after us in every possible way, it was really incredible!

Unique experience staying in a noble house of the Golden Age. Ceilings of 4 meters high, classic decorations, paintings and artifacts make you feel like you go back in time and experience the rich life of the past. Very authentic, with nice views from Room #1 overlooking the field through large 3 windows, a classic Austin car downstairs, amazing breakfast.

Property seems understaffed: no possibility to checkin after 18:00, we were with 3 people (parents + child), but got only one shampoo and 2 sets of towels. Staff was very friendly and nice, but was alone and preparing breakfast for ~10 people, so didn’t have time to get us additional towels and amenities.

Super location on the picturesque river Vecht. Character full 17th century gentlemans residence. Helpful staff.

I think one or two details such as the quality of the towels and toilet paper could be improved. Also there was only 1 miniscule bar of soap provided.

The Logement is a bucolic country manor with a lovely garden and nice views of the Vecht river; the breakfast room is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. Melissa graciously arranged for the UTC company to take us to Schipol Airport early in the morning for our flight.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Logement aan Vecht although we would like to have dined at the next door restaurant which was fully booked. As we reserved our room months ago, we would have appreciated a recommendation from the hotel that we make reservations for dinner as well at the same time. My only other suggestion is that the website include more specific instructions for arriving at the property by public transportation. There are trains to nearby Breukelen and the local 120 bus goes within 20 feet of the hotel--it wasn't hard to put our luggage on the bus (no flight of stairs) to go the 4 stops to the hotel. However, it's NOT easy to get a taxi or an Uber at the station: no taxis wait there and no Ubers would agree to pick us up. The tranquil hotel was a great refuge from city travel, but the instructions assume that the guests are familiar with the area and arriving by car.

We enjoyed this lovely 18th century home - even though the hot weather made the unairconditioned room uncomfortably warm. Fortunately a good fan was provided. Most local restaurants are closed on Mondays, but we enjoyed eating our take-away meal at the picnic table beside the river Vecht.

When the weather is so warm, heavy comforters on the bed are useless. Expecting this European custom, we brought our own top sheet. But if we had not, we'd have striped the blankets out of the duvet covers. The Lodgement could have done so, or provided proper top sheets.

Yes there is a road right outside the building but it’s honestly not a bother. If you are very sensitive to sound, you probably sleep with ear plugs already anyway.

The building and it's rooms are beautiful, nicely decorated and well maintained. The original and classical furniture is beautiful, the contemporary beds sleep well. It is obvious that the owner(s) did pay a lot of attention in making the old country house a blissful place Even the bathrooms are comfortable and charming. (Continental) breakfast is great. Service is wonderful. The surroundings (garden) is lovely, the neighbouring restaurant is very good. Definitely recommended for one or more nights.

Signage could be better, but not a reason to skip this place at all :-).

Steep stairs up to our room and not having a WCin our room were two unpleasant surprises. Limited check in time requires careful planning. Also surprised that breakfast wasn’t included in the price.

It is charming and I have already recommended it to friends. One thing puzzles me:

I was told that it would be 143 euros but I was charged 158.30 euro's which I have only just seen. Could you please explain the difference.

The weather :)

It was in the most beautiful nature and the hotel and its decorations were gorgeous. The staff was friendly. It was a beautiful walk of 25 minutes to the nearest town and there was a billard you could play in the shared room!

Breakfast was too expensive for two people in total, so we decided to not take it. The room was relatively small for the price and had more view of the parking spot rather than the garden. Our bathroom had an excellent view to make it up for it!
