Beautiful room. Amazing views. Incredible pool. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.
It is a little further out of town than we expected. The roads out of Amed before the hotel are in extremely poor condition so not an easy ride two-up. Nobody can blame the hotel for this, just something to be aware of.

The quality of the resort was fantastic, with direct beach access to the coral reef for snorkelling. There is also an amazing pool if swimming in the ocean isnt your thing. The rooms were very comfortable, with plenty of room and great airconditioning. The staff were great. Massage facilities were too notch. Highly recommend.
Amed's quite hilly, so be prepared for some stairs

We had a very pleasant stay. We wanted to be somewhere with good snorkling and diving, but the snorkling was so good (just out the door) that we never felt the need to go diving. The bed was comfortable and service was very attentive. Nearby restaurants had excellent food.
If we had stayed any longer we would have needed to rent our own scooter, there is only so much you can do by walking and car service is expensive and inconvenient (though all our drivers were excellent). I would also advise against snorkling or water activity during low tide when there are big waves. It is a pretty safe beach, but at low tide it is easy to get scratched up by the coral when the waves are strong.

We had a wonderful stay at Ibus Beach Hotel, Amed. The location is absolutely fantastic—right on the beachfront with breathtaking ocean views that make every sunrise unforgettable.
The service was exceptional throughout our stay. Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel genuinely cared for. The food was delicious, with a good variety of options, and every meal was fresh and well prepared. Special Shout out to Ms.Putu.am
The rooms are a little on the smaller side, but the spectacular sea views from the balcony more than make up for the lack of space. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the stunning views every morning was truly the highlight of our stay.
Overall, Ibus Beach Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront escape in Amed. Great location, outstanding hospitality, delicious food, and unforgettable views—we would happily stay here again and highly recommend it! 🌴🌊
