I loved my stay at Serene stay! The rooms are clean and spacious, super comfortable bed, shower was fab. Serene is the right description. The new owners Yorick and his brother are so welcoming and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Breakfast was wonderful and the best Capuchino I have had, and those kept coming without me being asked. A lovely ambience to this place, and a treat to get to see the resident Bush Babies go out for their night adventure. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available whenever we needed anything. The lodge itself was very comfortable and relaxing, and the individual breakfast was absolutely delicious.
We felt genuinely looked after from beginning to end. A fantastic experience in Hoedspruit — we would happily stay here again and can highly recommend this lodge!
The Wi-Fi was occasionally a little slow, but this did not affect our stay at all.
