Facilities and Surroundings: The location is fantastic, with stunning views. The cottage is super cozy and warm—it really makes you feel right at home. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool and overall facilities. Dining & Activities: The dinners were very good overall. The rafting experience was brilliant, largely thanks to the team running it, who were absolutely lovely and attentive. The massage service was also very enjoyable. Standout Staff: A special mention goes to the guy at breakfast and the rafting team for their great service and friendly attitude.

Staff Attitude & Customer Service: With a few exceptions, we noticed a general lack of hospitality, empathy, and willingness to help. Simple requests often felt like an inconvenience, met with coldness, disinterest, or reluctance (for instance, being told "no" when asking for a bit more soup at dinner, or getting little assistance when trying to source firewood for the cottage). For a property charging €300/night, customer service should be flawless across the board, from management down. Dining Detail: Although dinner was delicious, they failed to ask how we wanted our meat cooked. When serving a steak or cut of meat, asking for the guest's preferred doneness is essential, as everyone likes it cooked differently. Upkeep & Attention to Detail: We noticed a lack of attention to basic maintenance, such as pool towels left scattered around overnight and remaining there until the following morning. Wine Selection: Considering the tier and price of the hotel, we felt the wine list was quite limited and lacked higher-quality options. (Note: We would appreciate it if management or the owner reached out to us privately. We prefer not to post negative comments publicly, but we felt it was important to share this feedback).
