We really enjoyed our stay at Milchevi Guesthouse. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a big balcony and a beautiful sea view. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well, which was especially useful during the warmer days.
When we arrived, the hostess welcomed us warmly. She was very nice and helpful, which made us feel comfortable from the beginning.
The location was excellent. The beach and many restaurants are very close, and there is also a supermarket nearby. The old town is not far away, so you can easily enjoy both the old and new parts of the city without having to walk too much. There are also plenty of taxis nearby, making it easy to get practically anywhere in the city. If you enjoy nightlife, the HELP club is also within walking distance.
Despite being close to everything, the guesthouse was generally quiet. Overall, we really enjoyed the combination of the great location, comfortable room, beautiful sea view, friendly hostess, and easy access to everything we needed. We would definitely consider staying at Milchevi Guesthouse again.
There were only a few minor things that could be improved, more as recommendations than serious complaints.
When we first arrived, it was a little difficult to know exactly where to go, as there wasn’t a clearly visible sign for the guesthouse. The street and location information were provided, but if nobody had been outside when we arrived, it might have been a little confusing. A more visible sign at the entrance would make arrival easier.
It would also have been nice to have a chair or small seating option inside the room, especially if you wanted to eat something there. There were chairs on the balcony, but having one inside would have been more convenient. I also wasn’t quite sure where to dispose of the rubbish, as I couldn’t find a bin during my stay.
Another minor issue was the noise insulation. When some of the neighbours closed their doors, it could be quite loud, possibly because of the wind and the doors not being very well insulated.
Finally, personally, I found the price a little high compared with what was offered. I have stayed at other accommodations for a similar or lower price where I felt I received a bit more overall.
These were all relatively minor points and did not prevent us from enjoying our stay.
