I chose the room with the garden view and there was an onsen and shower separately for our three rooms and as one night I was at hotel alone it was all to myself. The rooms were fantastic and spacious and there were restaurannts around the area, although it was off the Kanazawa beaten path.
Transit options were spotty as the bus stops were a distance away it is about 1500 Yen for cab to station so that is not bad

Quiet with big public areas
interior is old and rooms are very small but one kind of expected these for a tradition ryokan
