Das Frühstück war excellent. Die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr komfortabel. Unsere Zimmer waren im Dachgeschoss. Es gab aber einen Ventilator. Wir fanden die Gemeinschaftsküche sehr nützlich. Sie war gut ausgestattet und nur eine Etage tiefer. Für unsere Kinder war es sehr angenehm, weil es mehr Platz gab. Das gilt auch für Draußen (Trampolin, Tischtennis). Mit den kostenlosen Fähren über die Seine kann man auch das Tal (Jumieges) einfach erkunden oder nach Barentin fahren, wo es ein großes Gebiet mit vielen Geschäften gibt. Die Autobahn nach Rouen ist zwar nicht weit entfernt, wer aber Zeit hat, fährt erst später auf die Autobahn und spart die Maut.
Die Straßen dorthin sind teilweise so eng, dass man bei Gegenverkehr zurück bis zu einer Ausweichstelle fahren muss. Leute, die alleine essen wollen, sollten den Schäferwagen mieten. Man sitzt sonst beim Frühstück mit anderen Gästen am Tisch. Für uns war das kein Problem. Aber wer morgens nicht gesprächig ist, wird hier vielleicht nicht glücklich.

Die Lage an einem Aussichtspunkt weit oberhalb der Seine. Das außergewöhnlich leckere Frühstück mit frischen Produkten aus der Region.

We stayed for one night. It felt as if were sleeping in one of the children's former bedrooms in the attic. No panorama view. The bathroom had the worst towels we ever came across in our entire travelling life. My spouse skipped showering just because of the smelly towels. This room needs refurbishing. This being said, the landlady was very kind and welcoming. She spoke English and made us breakfast which was included in the price. It was excellent and delicious with homemade jam, etc.
The horrible smelly towels.
